Subject:Ignore this, I need to finish updating it at home.

Music:Nothing.
Divine wisdom and guidance was very important to Odysseus, but sometimes came with consequences. The gods and goddesses helped Odysseus, but sometimes their ‘helpfulness’ caused more harm than good. More often than not though, it was a vital part of The Odyssey. Since Odysseus’ actions were not always the smartest, he often called on the gods for guidance as well as wisdom. When he made a bad choice, the god and goddesses would pity him and help him. Odysseus was bright, but without the help of the divine, he would have been killed off.
Wisdom from the gods and goddesses was very important to Odysseus. His guardian, Athena, was the goddess of wisdom. During the Trojan War, Athena gave Odysseus the idea for the Trojan horse. It was that idea that ultimately won the war for the Greeks. Once he and his crew left Troy, the landed on Polyphemuses’ island and were confronted by the Cyclops. After a few of his men were eaten, Odysseus prayed to Athena for help once more. His guardian came through! He found a piece of wood on the ground, shortened and sharpened it, then stabbed the Cyclops in the eye after intoxicating him. In the Circe episode, he was forewarned about the Sirens and Charybdis, and was able to listen to the Sirens deadly song. Wisdom from the heavens helped Odysseus in many aspects of his journey.
Divine guidance was another important factor in The Odyssey. Circe guides Odysseus by telling him to go to the Underworld. There he confronts Teiresias, and is advised about Helios’ cattle, the suitors, and his relationship with Poseidon. When Odysseus is stranded on Calypsos island, Hermes allows him leave, which returns him home. Also, the wind god Aeolus granted the ‘raider of cities’ a bag of winds that would’ve traveled him home except for the fact his foolish shipmates opened it before they were in Ithaca. Near the end of The Odyssey, Athena tells Odysseus that all the suitors of Penelope will die; and they do. As you can plainly see, guidance was a major guise in Odysseuses life.
All the gods actions had some kind of a consequence in Odysseuses journey home.

Subject:Someday, you never made it, maybe you never will. Hey, you never made it, now ain't that unusual?

Music:Goo Goo Dolls - You Never Made It.
Yeah. Livejournal is being a whore, so I'm gonna use this to update. Want to know what's on my mind?

First off, I'm relieved that I don't have to go to the pier, because I didn't really want to go down there with the skaters and stoners. It's stupid. I mean, Fran is there almost constantly, and it just irks me. She hangs around with stoners and 'punks'. She should just be the redneck we all know she is inside. Oh, and she should admit to Mike that she likes him.

On the other hand, Emma is being an ass whore. Ha, ass whore. But anyway, she always hangs out with these new 'goth' people. Yeah, she thinks shes so goth and punk, it's funny. Emma is about as far away from punk as you can get. She just wants to be cool, and shes hanging out with guys who just want to fuck her. And they will, yes they will. Because shes stupid and will end up getting raped and becoming a whore. an ASS WHORE!

Johnny Cash died. ::tears::

Today some bird was outside the school, it got hit or something, and I called my mom to get her friend who rehabilitates birds to come and get it. The coach was worried about it as well. She came and got it, but it died before she got home. My mom buried it, and said it was real obvious it had a broken neck. She looked at it's wings and stuff and they were fine, it was just the neck. While it was moving you couldn't tell.

And that's about all. I have nothing else to say, but..maybe I'll use this piece of shit more often, I seem to like it.

Out.

Subject:Not like I'll ever update this thing.
Time:7:33 am.

Well. Yes. This is my Blurty. I don't think I'll update it very often but..so what. It's for when I'm bored and have nothing else to do, like right now. So yeah, I woke up like an hour ago and I'm still extremely tired. Plus today isn't looking that great. I have Secntionals in Marching Band (PLEASE! NOT THAT!) and then Bass lessons, in which I'm going to be learning 'Slide' by the Goo Goo Dolls, because that is the only song Roy knows. Yeah, I figured out over half of it last night, so I won't need to work on much tonight. After Bass lessons I have 707. Grr. I despise 707.

Bass lessons are the only thing I'm looking forward to at this point.
