I should update this thing more...but I forget about it a lot of the time cuz I only mainly use livejournal. *sigh* I'm so sleepy right now. I'm feeling kind of depressed too...blah, I hate feeling this way. Life is just full of ups and downs, but the ups only make you feel good for a few moments, but the downs drag you down for a long time. I don't hate life though...I will never say that...but it's just one big struggle. Everything that happens to me, no matter how good or how bad, I should think of God...life is one big test, and I hope I pass in the end.

It's amazing how much a little piece of cloth can change people's perceptions of you. For example, there is this one girl who decided to wear niqab this year. So all of a sudden, there is so much respect for her from everyone...one guy even said that he wanted to marry her. He doesn't even know her...doesn't know her personality at all...doesn't even know her name...but because she wears niqab, he wants her to be his wife. Now last year, she was not covered and she actually wore tight clothes, etc...and this same guy did not notice her at all...did not even know she existed. Amazing...I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing...

I think I have finished memorizing the rest of Al-Fatiha. Although I didn't get help from my friend this time on pronunciations for that last part, so I don't know how accurate I am saying it. Does anyone know any good websites on how to pray and make wudu? Like how many rakats in each prayer and so on. Also, since Al-Fatiha is the only surah I know how to say, how would I go about praying? Would I just say Allahu Akbar the rest of the time? Shukran!

Bismillah ar-rahman nir-raheem
Alhamdulilla hi raabil alameen
Ar-rahman nir-raheem
Maliki yau madeen
Iyakka na budu wa iyakka nastaeen
Ihdinas siratal mustaqeem
Hmm...that's all so far. My spelling's probably all wrong...but oh well. My pronunciation is probably worse. Hahaha. Once I finish learning Al-Fatiha...and then the Taushoud (sp?), then I'm gonna try to start praying, inshaAllah.
