So The Animit has finally finished recording their first album. It should be out in the next month or two. God, I can't wait!
I'm trying my best to get one of them over here to post about the whole recording experience and what they think of the album. Maybe if I get the chance I'll write up a couple of interview questions or something.

Rich is such a meanie! He's always playing these Animit jokes on me. And I swear for like the first 5 minutes I'm so not believeing him, knowing it's a joke, and then at some point his wack ass story gets so believable I'm like "NO WAY!" "OH MY GOD!" Maybe I'm just really gullable. Hmph!

The animit played today and I couldn't go see them. =( I unfortunately couldn't find a ride. Damn it!!!
I did however get to see them at the Joanne's last friday. Oh The Animit, you never cease to amaze me.

You are very welcome. It was our pleasure to devote a community to the awesome sounds of The Animit. Now if only we could get more people to join.
I'm really psyched about this weekend's show at Joanne's. Hopefully Crystal and I will make it. Joanne's was a pretty cool place as far as I can remember. Now if only I can make sure not to bump into the people playing pool I think I'll be all set!

Yeah baby... that show ruled!!! Three sets of The Animit. Amazing! I wish you guys would play shows like that all the time. I'm going try making it to the next one.
I think the best part was that I finally got a T-shirt! I think I'm gonna wear it to bed everything fucking night! LoL -- maybe.

So like I just feel like writing a little, mostly in reference to The Animit. I'm kind of sad because it seems no one realized how much effort I got through to see them. It's like a 2 1/2 hour commute just for me to get there, and then the stupid NJ transit trains stop running at like 9pm so I always have to find a place to stay for the night. Then if I can't find a ride from the train I have to take a cab, which can get expensive -- ARG!!!
I've also been trying to get my hands on a t-shirt for quite some time now. I hope Rich can mail me one, cause if not who knows if I'll ever get one.
Anyway, I think that concludes my Animit ranting for the evening.

Holy shit, It rocked the casba! Erin I'm sorry you couldn't make it, it totally ruled! I can't wait till the next show (the 17th) I'm totally bringing friends with me. I think we might just chip in and get a hotel room for after the show. What do you think? Any hotels in New Brunswick? I'm gonna look into this.

YAY! The Animit T-shirts are finally in. Did you pre-order one? Erin, I have no idea how I'm gonna get mine. I'd tell Rich to mail it, but I think he'll forgot. I want my shirt soooooooo bad!!!!!
So, about the concert.. SNZ is MIA... so, I figured if I don't hear from him I probably won't go, and you can just spend the whole weekend at my place. But if he does magically appear, then maybe you can crash at my house from Friday-Saturday, then we'll go back to your place, go to the concert, and I can crash with you from Saturday-Sunday??? How's that sound? Let me know.
We should also work on how to add The Animit to the Blurty Community Ads page.

The next Animit show is on the 26th. Who is going? Erin you mentioned you wanted to come visit me that weekend. Did we figure out what's going on yet?
Rich hasn't been online this morning... I wonder where he is. He's supposed to send me an MP3 and the suspense is killing me. Rich also told me that the set on the 26th is going to be a short one, and it's not worth traveling for. That's sucks! I think I might still want to go.
Erin let me know what you think would work out best for that weekend.

Me and Desirai started this community to introduce you to a Great new band!! The Animit. They are a type of music that would best be described as moody hard rock. There are downloadable songs on their web-site.
The band consists of the lead singer, Sean Thoman,
Bassist, Ryszard Sabotka (Rich)
Drummer, Matt Cunningham
and Guitarist, Brian Arthur
If you ever get the chance to see them live, they will rock your world. The power and energy they give off onstage is amazing and will get you moving and pumping.

I went my first The Animit show last Friday. It was fucking amazing! I got to meet Erin for the first time too... that was probably the best part. That silly girl. We got so drunk... dancing fools we were! T'was at the show that I realized how sexy SNZ is...*sigh* I hope I make it to another show, I totally had a blast that night. The Animit RULES!
