[ mood | cold ]

From this point on, my journal is only going to be accessible to those on my blurty friends list, so if you'd like to read my entries or make comments, please leave a comment for this entry and I'll add you to my friends list. To do that, you have to sign up for an account with blurty and you'll have a journal of your own. It's free and you don't have to use the journal if you don't want to, you can just use the blurty user id. You'll be able to see my entries after I've added you. Thanks!

So I went out to din din with some friends and they were anti-bowlers so my sis and I went bowling with some of her friends from hs. It was fun, but one of those girls has a really big mouth and I was kind of embarrassed since there were a couple of guys from my hs bowling in the next lane. I know they remembered me because I heard them say my name during conversation and one of them winked, but I was too chicken to talk to them, just because it's been like 4 years since I spoke to any of them. I felt a little better when I discovered they weren't any better than I was at bowling. I bowled a 95 today.......yay? Hehe. Hey, at least I'm getting better. I got like 3 strikes....it was so exciting, I got a couple of spares too.......woo! Anyway, I want bowling shoes. That's going to be my next major purchase. Yay me! Bowling is the only thing that brings me joy lately, how sad.

I was reading a Rolling Stone article on Ethan Hawke and a couple of things he said hit me.

"Do what you're doing. You are your actions, and thinking motivates your actions. That's why you have to be so careful what you think about."

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions." I'm not sure if that's an original Hawke statement, since I think I've heard it somewhere before.

Anyway, just thought I'd put those on here.

[ mood | hopeless ]

While I was out and about today, I drove by an apartment that had been burnt to a crisp. I couldn't help but wish that I had been in the building while it was burning. I hoped that no one else had been hurt, because I wanted that for myself. Sometimes I feel like my depression just can't get any worse, and other days I feel like it will never get any better. I was reading my past journal entries the other day and I realized how completely stupid I was and how completely stupid I still am. I've had relationships end in the past, I already knew that they all end one way and one way only, but I was still stupid enough to believe that I would actually find permanent happiness one day. I thought that I had found the one who would stick with me through thick and thin, but I was wrong. No one will do that for me, I'm forced to be alone. Family is one thing, blood relations are always there, but having the love of someone who doesn't have to love you, that was a great feeling and it was something I thought would last forever when it came to Twolights. He made me feel like happiness was mine, that he'd never let me feel lonely and unloved. At least I was able to feel that for nearly 2 years, right? No, because now I know what it feels like to have that hope and happiness, and now I know that I'll never have it again. Anyway, I'm gonna go and think about being trapped in a burning building.

I'm sad. I'm lonely. I'm pathetic. I'm disgusting. What's wrong with me? Why can't I fix myself. If I don't like something, I should be able to fix it, right? Why do I feel so completely powerless then? I'm an abusive girlfriend. I discovered that about myself today. I also need to learn how to take a joke. I'm an idiot...pure and simple. So, the new year is off to a kick ass start.......mainly cuz my boyfriend still loves me (as much as he used to--I hope) and I still love him as much as always. Ick, my mom is doing her nails and the fumes are all over the house and killing off my brain cells as I sit here and update my journal. Methinks this year is gonna be a disappointment.....I don't see anything wonderful happening in this year--other than my 3-mont visit to England in the summer but then again things may go wrong and I might get fucked--in a bad way. Hopefully the year goes by without any bad things happening, that's all I want. I'm not expecting great things, I just want the year to be ok. The thought of spending another full year with a long distance relationship is very depressing, but then again it means one less year of being away from my sweetie, right? If only I could keep telling myself that. I hate being a pessimist, it sucks. My eyes burn from the fumes. I'm tired of updating......

So, it's been a while. I was busy, so there! I just wanted to show everyone what my wonderful boyfriend got me for my Christmas pressie. Not only did get get me tons of Lush stuff (which I LOVE, by the way), but he also dropped a crap load of money to get me this Medicom Edward Scissorhands Wind-Up Tin figure. He's so fucking awesome!!!!! Here are some pictures, go on, drool all you want!

Edward 1Edward 2Edward 3

Now, if you go to the site I got those pictures from, http://www.kempa.com/articles/esh/ , you will find all kinds of cool information about Edward Scissorhands (like Nick Carter was an extra on the set, and that there is a porn series called 'Edward Penishands'). You'll also see stuff about my Edward. Here's what they said,

"There have been several attempts to immortalize Edward in toy form. The first, and by far most desirable is the Medicom tin robot, only made in Japan in a limited run (1000)."

Ohhh yeahhhh, I've got one of a thousand. And I'm pretty sure no one in my town has one. Yay! My sweetie is the best at picking out gifts for me. I love you baby! Anyway, I'm bored. Tomorrow's New Year's Eve and it's gonna be boring. It's gonna suck cuz I don't have my good luck kiss from my good luck boyfriend.
Oh well, one day, someday, before I die........

"When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness - and call it love - true love"~Robert Fulghum~

I've found some weirdness that is compatible with mine....our weirdness is mutually satisfying. I'm pretty depressed, but instead of focusing on the bad tonight, I'm just going to remind myself that I've got a terrific boyfriend. Even if he's supportive of me killing myself :p I love him lots and he makes me a happy camper, especially when we're together. When I'm with him, there is no such thing as heartache and sadness. I can't wait for marriage! Yup, I'm happy, no matter what happened today......

Hearts will never be practical until they are made unbreakable.~Wizard of Oz~

It's so sad that that statement is true. I mean, if you don't look at it physiologically. Strange how love is associated with your heart. I don't get it right now, but I'm sure if I were in a better mood, I would be able to come up with an explanation for it.

"The heart has reasons that reason does not understand."~Jacques Benigne Bossuel~

Love is very nonsensical. It's good, but it's so good that it hurts. Knowing what it's like to be in love and knowing that I may lose it one day, that's a scary thought to me. It comes and goes. I'm afraid of losing what I have......I don't know, I'm just scared.

I don't ever want to lose the feeling that I had when I was with Ashtha, but I think I've already lost it.....temporarily maybe, but I think it might be missing right now. It comes and goes.
