Right before the blade had drop on the guillotine which would have separated the two twins forever both had closed their eyes tightly. After a few minutes Len still very much aware and feeling and Rin not hearing the distinctive slice and uproar of cheers both opened their eyes to see the other reflected like a mirror before them in a large open square strange architecture surrounding them as people bustle by laughing and talking in a language unknown to them and loud mechanical contraptions can be heard nearby.

"L..Len? "
Tears come to the girl dressed in a boy's servants clothing eyes as she reaches out towards her female dressed mirror image and she begins to stumble towards him and he quickly moves to her catching her before she can fall.
"Yes Rin it is me. I am here wherever here is."
The girl clutches to the front of his dress fisting her small hands in the fine silk folds
"Is this heaven Len?"
He shakes his head holding her close as he looks around shivering as a cold wind begins to pick up around them and not used to having his shoulders bared so.
"No I do not think we would have gone to such a place. Perhaps there was some sort of divine intervention though."
Rin wipes her eyes and looks up into the warm gold eyes of her sibling.
"Perhaps we were given a second chance you think?
Len nods his head slightly saying nothing more on the matter frowning as the colds begin to grow and it begins to look very snowy
"Come we must find some sort of shelter. If we freeze to death this second chance will be for naught."
