Actually, di ko maintindihan kung bakit kelangan naka-bukaka sya, tuloy, yung isang row ng upuan sa MRT na pwede ay pitong tao, pang-limahan na lang dahil sa kumag na yan. Take note also of his right arm, nakaharang talaga. Oh well, gone are the days na ang mga kalalakihan ay nahihiya pang umupo sa public transport, usually, tatayo sila para paupuin ang matanda o babae, ngayon, uunahan ka pa na para bang naglalaro ng Trip to Jerusalem.

Ah yeah. Was able to see "Vantage Point" with Mike last week. Ok yung movie. Except for these old folks na katabi ko, they were like, "Ay, ano ba yan? Ilang beses ba nila uulitin yung eksana?".
Found Matthew Fox way hot nung naging kontra-bida sya.

1. Bakit madaming tao sa mall kahit na weekdays, lalo na kung officehours? Wala ba silang mga trabaho kaya nasa mall sila?
2. Bakit lagi na lang may taong nakasakay sa taxi na pinapara mo? San sila nanggaling? Bakit di ka makakuha ng taxi lalo na kung kailangan mo?
3. Bakit may pera pambili ng kotse ang mga Pinoy? Kala ko ba naghihirap tayo, e ang sikip na ng EDSA? At take note, di lang basta mga kotse ito, mga luxury cars pa. San sila nakakuha ng pera pambili? Nagtatrabaho din naman ako, pero wala akong pambili ng kotse.

Recent movies show on cable TV related to, about and around porn:
"The Girl Next Door", starring Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert. I especially liked this movie, which was spoofed by Paris Hilton's "Nothing In This World" video.
"Boogie Nights"stars Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, William H. Macy, Julianne Moore, John C. Reilly and Heather Graham.
The film follows a young porn star as he enters the industry in the late 1970s in California, and deals with the highs and lows of success into the 1980s. It also follows several other characters involved in the industry, and their downfalls.

Britney may have made a terrible performance at the VMA 2007, but I enjoy listening to her new album. Maybe the girl can get away with anything, because she's Britney, bitch!

Oo, buhay pa naman ako. Two weeks of greuling work talaga! And to reward myself, I shopped talaga! Shet, I maxed out my salary. Mike has two GCs from Crocs, tag-isa kami, so went to Greenhills to redeem the GCs. I also bought 2 shirts sa tiangge then we went to Trinoma kasi I had naman a GC from David & Goliath, so I got a shirt din. The other day, we were at San Fernando, Pampanga, my mom's hometown, sobrang boring sa bahay kaya we went to SM. Tamang-tama, SALE! Bought a shirt for P400, and a pair of jeans for only ta-dah, P399! They have great selections at the Surplus there, unlike sa Megamall or North Edsa. Also bought a Girbaud bag worth P900, kawawa naman my old Benetton bag na 3 taon ko na ata ginagamit.
In the afternoon, we went back to Trinoma. Saw this really cute black and white stripe jacket at a brand called 101 New York in Landmark, kaya binili ko na din. Urgh. Just this morning, I checked my ATM, anakngpucha, P2000 na lang pala ang laman!
It's okay, I tell myself. Last time na bumili ako ng kahit anong damit was last July or August pa ata.

Playing on my iPod right now, thanks to my officemates, I got to know about this series. Not what I expected though, but I do have the first four episodes (I think 6 were already show in the US).
*Gossip Girl is an American television teen drama based on the popular novel series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Gossip Girl revolves around the lives of socialite young adults growing up on New York's Upper East Side who attend elite academic institutions while dealing with sex, drugs, and other teenage issues. Featuring an ensemble cast, the series mainly centers around the lives of former best friends, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), and their shared romantic interest, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford). As outsiders looking in, Dan (Penn Badgley) and Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) do not run in the same social or financial circles as their peers but are drawn into their lives nonetheless. The series is narrated by a seemingly omniscient character, "Gossip Girl" (voiced by Kristen Bell), who runs a blog about her fellow Upper East Siders — consequently stirring the pot and creating potential rivalries in this exclusive and vicious circle of friends.

Maybe its just me, but isn't the Philippine Press just reacting too much on the whole "Desperate Housewives" thing? And now, it the "Daily Show with John Stewart" calling former Pres. Aquino a slut?
These people need to watch "The Late Show with David Letterman". They have a segment called "Great Moments In Presidential Speeches (or is it History)"? The show insults Pres. Bush every night. I don't hear any reaction from the White House.

I still have two more weeks to go before I transfer, and I can't wait to assume my new post in the office. There are still a lot of stuff to do bago ako lumipat, and I don't want to do them anymore! Wahahaha!

After almost a year, nakabili na din ako ng new pair of shoes. This last one I bought was a Puma pa last December, and it was one of the most comfy shoes that I had. I am happy with this one too, my first pair of Converse Chuck Taylor. I love it.

It hasn't occured to me yet that I turned t-h-i-r-t-y. My birthday came and went, nothing special really. And as a gift, Mike helped me buy, "Design Elements: A Graphic Style Manual", knowing that art and design books are really expensive.

Very late post na, but I was at the Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2007. We got the VIP pass, pero ang dami ng tao. We didn't get the good seats since medyo madami ng tao when we got to the NBC Tent, nevertheless, we were still in front.

10:38 am - Ooopsss... I Did It Again
|
I slipped on the bathroom floor last night while taking a shower. The soap slipped from my hand and I tried to catch it while the shower is still running. I desperately tried to hold on to the shower curtain, but it fell right on me, everything from the shower rod to the toiletry rack which holds the soap dish, shampoo and conditioner bottles and shower gel.
My butt hurts, still I am thankful my head didn't hit the walls of my narrow bathroom. Second time this happened to me. A few years back, I slipped after taking a shower, I was dead beat drunk.

 Seldom do I cry watching movies, especially sappy movies at that, but never did I expect to drop a few tears from watching "Cinema Paradiso".
— Told in flashback, it tells the story of the return to his native Sicilian village of a successful film director "Salvatore" for the funeral of his old friend "Alfredo", who was the projectionist at the local "Cinema Paradiso". Ultimately, Alfredo serves as a wise father figure to his young friend who only wishes the best to see him succeed, even if it means breaking his heart in the process.

Whew! Haven't posted anything lately. Haven't posted anything decent lately.
Let's see, I went to Baguio last week for four days with some officemates. Sarap ng Baguio. We got to stay sa house ng tito ng officemate ko. Ganda din ng house, 3-stories tall, I think it has 4 rooms and three bathrooms. Sight-seeing ever, kahit na ilang beses ko nang napuntahan ang Botanical Garden, Wright Park, Session Road, Mansion, John Hay, the ukay-ukay shops, Baguio Public Market at syempre ang SM Baguio.
Naunang pumunta officemates ko the day before then sumunod na lang kami ni Mike the following day, ganun din nung uwian, may mga nauna at nagpahuli na din kami.

I got sick last thursday! Grabe, parang binibiyak ang ulo ko. I wanted to attend sana the Cosmo 10th Anniversary Party, but I had to go to Greenbelt muna para sa birthday ng dati kong officemate. Before leaving the office, super gym muna then shower then back to my workstation to fix my stuff then off to the MRT, then lakad towards Greenbelt. Pagdating dun, bigla akong gininaw. Sumakit ng todo ang ulo ko at nanginig ako.
Buti na lang hinatid ako, and that night medyo bumuti pakiramdam ko. But the following day mahilo-hilo talaga ako, ang sobrang sakit ng ulo.
Mike spend the weekend here. Friday til sunday dito sya natulog. My mom was in Cebu naman kaya't okay lang. What a weekend, I felt I was so messed up. Ngarag. Hay. Back to work tomorrow.

Its always sad to see friends go. I attended two despedida parties in a week. First one was for Carmen, who went to the US last Saturday with fiance Marc. Marc and Carmen were classmates of mine back in college.
Second one was for Claire. Claire and I used to work at the AIM, and recently at Summit Media. She hosted a small get-together/picnic and invited a few friends from Iloilo and college. She'll be staying in their new home in Singapore with her son and husband.
